M&T Bank appointed Michael P. Ryan group vice president, recovery & remarketing manager. Most recently, administrative vice president, Ryan is a Daemen College graduate and earned his master's degree from the University at Buffalo.

Precision Abrasives promoted ?Pam Vogel to executive vice president. Vogel, who joined the company in 1990, was promoted to vice president of operations in 2000. She is a graduate of Bowling Green and has a master's degree from Canisius College.?

Copier Fax Business Technologies appointed John Kilcoyne manager of its business to business division. Kilcoyne is a certified network engineer with a degree from Cornell University. Kilcoyne was the northeast region director of IT/Sales Engineering for Global Imaging Systems.

Hilbert College board of trustees ?chair Ann Swan was presented the 2012 President's Medal, one of the highest honors bestowed by the college. Swan has served two terms as chairperson of the board of trustees. A community leader in many civic activities in the Western New York area and a longtime teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools, Swan serves as executive director of the William E. and Ann ?L. Swan Foundation.

Shelberg has worked in the commercial business industry for more than 25 years as a design, land development and construction consultant. He received his master's degree from the University at Buffalo.?Five Star Bank promoted Melissa Filipiak to retail area manager. Filipiak currently manages the retail branch of Five Star Bank in East Aurora and will now oversee branches in Orchard Park, Amherst, Attica, North Java and Strykersville. Filipiak studied business administration at Medaille College and Empire State College.
