Ump deserved suspension

Kudos to Major League Baseball for suspending an umpire. It is about time that one should be punished for his actions.

For too long umpires have been accused of forcing confrontations between them and players and managers, making wrong calls in the field, and home plate umpires who officiate according to their own rules even though there is a defined strike zone.

I hope this will be a start of uniformity in umpiring, and to keep bad umpires off the field.

Heckling probably doesn't help

Why do fans continue to yell out the name of the opposing goaltender during hockey games? Is that really supposed to do something? Actually, I'd like fans to yell my name. It just seems dumb why they do it.
