1. PLENTY OF GOOD SEATS
Devils goalie Martin Brodeur says it's tough to find good ice this time of year, because "buildings are so busy." He obviously hasn't been to the First Niagara Center lately.
2. HOP TO IT

3. WE'LL MISS HIM
Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen says he's done with Twitter, saying he doesn't need the aggravation. In tribute to him, Twitter messages will be reduced to 139 characters because there is one less character on the site.
4. NOW HIRING
Former Arkansas football coach Bobby Petrino has sold his house to Wal-Mart's chief merchandising officer. The new owner's first move was to put a greeter at the end of the driveway.
5. NEW CHECKPOINT
