MOTHER'S DAY WALKATHON: The Asian-Indian Community Foundation of Western New York, in partnership with Baker Victory Services, will hold the fifth annual Mother's Day Walkathon at 10 a.m. today at the Ellicott Creek Trailway, North Forest at Maple roads in Amherst. Registration is at 9 a.m. Rep. Brian Higgins will start the walkers on their way. A donation of $25 for a family or $10 a person is suggested. WALK FOR CELIAC AWARENESS MONTH: The Western New York Gluten-Free Diet Support Group, in conjunction with the Clarence Hollow Association, will participate in the 11th annual Internal Walk for Celiac Disease Awareness and Research from 9:30 to noon today at the Clarence Town Park, 10405 Main St. The walk is 1.5 or 3 miles through Clarence Hollow and will be led by the Buffalo Bandits cheerleaders. After the walk, ice cream will be served and there will be a clown doing face-painting and a bounce house.
