Compressed natural gas urged for company vehicles

Interested in learning about using natural gas vehicles for your business?

An organization called CNG for Upstate is pushing the use of compressed natural gas for work fleets. A tour of the new Waste Management CNG station in West Seneca is being offered on May 15 fro 10:30a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Behind the Scenes look of Waste Management’s New Publicly Accessible CNG Filling Station

 On May 15th, 2012 from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM experience firsthand the cost savings and positive environmental and economical impact that Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) can provide local industry.  CNG experts and users will be available to provide tours and demonstrate Waste Management’s new CNG filling station located on 100 Ransier Drive, West Seneca, NY.  Tour includes: demonstrations on fueling CNG vehicles at the public access dispensers, overnight slow fill dispensing area for Waste Management’s fleet, overview of the CNG compressor and fuel storage area as well as vehicle maintenance building modifications.  Local vendors supporting the CNG industry will be exhibiting their products including vehicle distributors, natural gas suppliers, CNG equipment   manufacturers and site development contractors.  In addition, several CNG vehicle manufacturers and converters will have dedicated CNG vehicles on display.
