The Linwood Preservation District and Friends Association will present the Historic Linwood Tour of Homes from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Ten houses are on the tour, as well as three other properties including the Saturn Club, Temple Beth Zion and Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Bowmansville Garden Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Badding Bros. Farm Market, 10820 Transit Road, East Amherst. Louise Badding will discuss grasses; members will create a planter to be presented at the October meeting.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Julie McIndoo, owner of McIndoo Arts & Flowers, will present a program on continuous blooming perennials. The members' annual plant exchange also will be held.

Eden Garden Club will gather at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Eden Junior-Senior High School, 3150 Schoolview Road, Eden, for a plant exchange. A meeting follows at 7 p.m. Terry Skura will demonstrate three functional table designs.

East Park Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1285 W. River Road, Grand Island. Peter Diachun, a master gardener, will present a program on the care and pruning of roses. For information, call 773-9518.

Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore. Linda Zeder, member of the Amherst Garden Club, will present "How to Prepare Horticulture for Flower Shows."

Federated Amana Garden Club of West Seneca will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca, for a 60th anniversary celebration and annual spring auction.

Lancaster Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in St. John Lutheran Hall, 55 Pleasant Ave., Lancaster. Dorothy Julius will conduct a hands-on workshop for creating a spring flower arrangement.

Alden Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Alden Community Center, 13116 Main St. Ken Brown, owner of Field of Dreams, will present "Things Gardeners Should Know -- But Don't." Guests and new members welcome. For more information, call 937-7055.

Youngstown Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday in First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St., to prepare for Kitchens in Bloom from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 9 at the Bistro Restaurant, Youngstown. The one-day event is being held in conjunction with the Lewiston Region Tour of Kitchens (June 9 and 10). It will showcase kitchen-related floral arrangements and also feature a plant sale.

Southtowns Rose & Garden Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at 3876 Lynn Drive, Orchard Park. A grafting demonstration is planned. New members and those who renew membership will receive a potted rose bush. Call 649-7118 for information.
