GOLF: The Second Annual Chuck Funke Memorial Golf Outing will be Saturday, June 16 with a 1 p.m. shot gun tee off at Ironwood Golf Course, 1964 Folsomdale Road, Cowlesville. Proceeds benefit Iroquois Athletics. The cost of $90 includes golf, cart, lunch, drink tickets and a steak dinner or $25 for dinner only. Gift baskets and hole sponsors are needed. ICE SKATING: Skate Great will offer learn to skate and beginner hockey classes at Leisure Rinks in Orchard Park. All ages are welcome. Tuesday's classes begin May 29 from 5 to 5:45 p.m. and Thursday's classes begin May 31 from 5:10-5:55 p.m. Parents of skaters may also participate in the program for half price for spring and summer sessions only. BASKETBALL: The Fifth Annual Ballin' for a Cause Charity Tournament will take place Saturday June 2-3 at the new location at Buffalo Niagara Court Center. The grand prize will be $5,000. For more information, please visit www.ballingforacause.com.

HOCKEY: The Philip Christ Goaltending School will be holding a skill intensive, one on one, goaltending instruction with the help of 25 years of NHL, AHL, and Olympic experience. Beginner through elite level schools will be held June-August at the Northtown Center in Amherst, Holiday Twin Rinks, Hockey Outlet, Fort Erie's Leisure Plex and Rochester's ESL Rink. LITTLE LEAGUE: The Tonawanda National Little League will hold a reunion on July 14 from 6-10 p.m. at the American Legion Post 264 in Tonawanda. Cost is $20 and all former coaches, players, parents and supporters are welcome to attend. Advanced reservations are requested by July 1.
