KILLOCK - Richard "Dick"
Age 70, of Town of Tonawanda, NY and The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL surrounded by his loving family. Born March 7, 1942 in Gowanda, NY, Dick was the youngest son of William and Harriet (Priest) Killock of South Dayton, NY. Dick is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Leona Francis; two children, Tabatha (William) Dimas of St. Petersburg, FL and Jason (Dodie Wilmet) Killock of Orchard Park, NY; and a brother, Robert (Patricia Babcock) Killock of South Dayton, NY. Dick was also blessed with three grandchildren, Wyatt, Zoe and Adalyn Killock, as well as 10 nieces and nephews and many grand-nieces and nephews. He graduated from Pine Valley Central School in 1960. He received his BS Degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY Brockport and his MS in Mathematics from SUNY Buffalo. Dick was a teacher in the Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda UFSD for 33 years, rst at Kenmore Junior HS then at Kenmore West Senior HS, where he later served as Mathematics Department Chairman. He also served as advisor to the Senior Class and Yearbook Club. In retirement, he rediscovered the joy of golng and nished carpentry. Friends are invited to join the family in a celebration of Dick's "Happiest Hours" which will be held Saturday, May 5th at AcQua Restaurant & Banquet (formerly Harry's Harbour House), 2192 Niagara St., Buffalo, NY from 2:00-4:30 PM.
