The Bills say second-round pick Cordy Glenn can easily continue to make the transition from guard to tackle. Glenn also got a text from Ville Leino, telling him how easy it is to switch positions at the pro level.

2. A HAPPY COPLES

Quinton Coples said the Jets got "a great value" by selecting him 16th overall in the draft. Coples' mother was quick to agree with that analysis.

3. NOT AS GOOD AS ME

Jim Brown on the newest member of the Cleveland Browns, Trent Richardson: "The problem is that he's ordinary." However, don't forget that Brown has pretty high standards about running backs.

4. YOU MAKE THE CALL

Umpire Jeff Kellogg reportedly will not be disciplined for tackling a fan who ran on to the field during Friday's baseball game in Oakland. And the next day, the Raiders took Kellogg with their seventh-round draft pick.

5. CAN'T MAKE THAT ONE

Hofstra University staged a three-day academic conference over the weekend, examining the history of the New York Mets. The seminar entitled "The Art Howe Years" was said to be not well attended.
