BALL, Virginia J.

BALL - Virginia J. In loving memory of Virginia J. Ball, February 25, 1924 - April 10, 2012, born and raised in N. Tonawanda, NY with the last 68 years spent in Washington, DC interspersed by a number of overseas assignments during her working years. Virginia provided long and faithful service to her country as an
administrative assistant for the Department of the Navy during WWII and
later with the Central Intelligence Agency. She remained active in several
local and national organizations including St. Matthew's Cathedral Club,
Catholic Daughters of America, Women's Overseas Service League and the
Central Intelligence Retirees Association. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Eleanor Ball of N. Tonawanda, NY and her sister, Juanita Bell of Perry, NY. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Patricia McArdell, (Bob) of South Daytona Shores, FL and
several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Virginia's dear friend, Kyle Walton for the friendship and support he provided during her later years; also to the staff of the Lisner Louise Dickson Hurt Home for the loving and exceptional care they provided to her during her residency. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Kenmore, NY on May 5 at 11:00 AM at
the Ball family plot.
