BPO CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH: The Friends of the BPO Volunteers is hosting a champagne brunch and fashion show at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Park Country Club, 4949 Sheridan Drive, Amherst. The show features BPO musicians and their friends modeling fashions from Jacqueline Shoppe, Pumpkins Children's Clothing and O'Connell Lucas Chelf. Also included is a basket raffle offering items from various local patrons and merchants. Tickets are available at the BPO box office at 885-5000 or by calling Sally Moehlau at 634-5055.

CELEBRATE SPRING WOMEN'S EVENT: The Cheektowaga Chamber of Commerce will present Celebrate Spring Celebrate You, An Event for Women from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, at the Millennium Hotel and Resort, 2040 Walden Ave., in Cheektowaga. LECTURE SERIES: Dottie Gallagher-Cohen, president and chief executive officer of the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau, is this week's speaker in the series entitled "Imagine Buffalo: Why Do the Arts Matter?" from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Central Library's Ring of Knowledge, main floor near Fables Cafe, 1 Lafayette Square. The free event is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Art, Architecture, History and Nature.

SENIORS PROM: Senior citizens living in the Clarence Central School District are invited to "Twilight Time," the annual senior citizens prom hosted by the National Honor Society and the Student Council. The event, which includes a complimentary catered dinner along with music and dancing, will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. May 8 in the Clarence High School cafeteria.
