PUBLIC TALK: Himanshu Grover, assistant professor of urban and regional planning at the University at Buffalo School of Architecture and Planning, will discuss the impact of climate change on planning and policymaking in the Buffalo Niagara metropolitan area from 12:30 to 2 p.m. today in Room 9 in Norton Hall, on UB's North Campus in Amherst. There is no charge.
TURKISH COFFEE DAY: The Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University and the Turkish Cultural Center in Buffalo will present "Turkish Coffee Day at the Museum," featuring "Sultan's Art," from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the museum, 5795 Lewiston Road, Lewiston. Traditional Turkish coffee, baklava and other samples of Turkish cuisine will be served at the reception before the program, which is free and open to the public. The event is being presented in conjunction with the exhibit "Haydar Hatemi: The Istanbul Painter," which continues through May 27.
HOCHUL SATELLITE HOURS: The office of Rep. Kathleen C. Hochul, D-Amherst, will host satellite hours in Genesee and Wyoming counties Tuesday. Staff will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the conference room at One Batavia City Centre and from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in Room 202 at the Wyoming County Building, 143 N. Main St., Warsaw.
