Century 21 Real Estate LLC awarded Eric Winklhofer, broker/owner for Century 21 Winklhofer, with the Quality Service Pinnacle Award for his company's offices in Grand Island and Charence/Williamsville. In addition, Gerrie Andolina, also from Century 21 Winklhofer, was presented with the Grand Centurion Award, Presidents Award and Quality Service Award. He also came in seventh in sales nationally for the Century 21 system.

Ann L. Swan, executive director of the William E. and Ann L. Swan Foundation, was named honorary chairwoman of the 11th annual Brothers of Mercy Caritas Awards Dinner. The dinner will be held May 3 at Salvatore's Italian Gardens Restaurant. Proceeds from the dinner benefit the Brothers of Mercy Campus Foundation in support of the three nonprofit facilities on the Clarence campus: the Brothers of Mercy Senior Apartment Complex, Brothers of Mercy Sacred Heart Adult Home, and Brothers of Mercy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The award was accepted by company President Peter Demakos in a ceremony with employees at the company's plant on Ontario Street in Buffalo.
