He graduated with a Masters degree in Accounting and a degree in Teaching from Canisius College. He went on to become a U.S. Customs Inspector until his retirement. Jerry was a veteran of WWII, serving in Burma. He was known for his generosity, compassion, and faith. He had a wonderful passion for dancing with Georgia, who he whisked around the dance floor, with such elegance and grace. For many years there were endless foster children for whom he cared for, each one touching his heart in a special way. He vigorously wrote letters of compassion for children of abortion, spreading the Catholic belief of Pro-Life, without life we have nothing. He was Volunteer of the Year, in more than one heart, giving endless hours of playing cards with whomever had the desire to play. From the inmates, to the elderly, he did not discriminate. Jerry found the good in everyone. All who knew Jerry, were in someway touched by his ways, theories, and readings. He will be surely missed.
