ENTERPRISE CHARTER STUDENT LOTTERY: The Enterprise Charter School's student placement lottery for the upcoming 2012-13 school year for kindergarten through eighth grade will be held at 9 a.m. today in the school, 275 Oak St. Kindergarten children must be five years old by Dec. 31. PRUNING WORKSHOP: Pfeiffer Nature Center will present Pruning 101 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday with master forest owner Joe Schueckler. Pruning 101 is a beginners workshop on how to prune young yard trees. Attendees are encouraged to bring gloves, hand pruners and/or loppers. Directions will be given upon registration. WINE-TASTING EVENT: Salu Wine & Spirits, 658 Main St., East Aurora, will host a wine-tasting event from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday to benefit local nonprofits, including Aurora Adult Day Care, Aurora Players and FISH food pantry. It is sponsored by the Aurora Women's Club. Light appetizers and a basket raffle are included.
