Community center selected as site for Benderson family

The Jewish Community Center has been selected as the site of consolation for the family of Nathan Benderson, who died Saturday at the age of 94 in Florida.

As a result, between 7 and 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, community center members planning to visit the Benderson Family Building for fitness sessions are being encouraged, but not required to, select alternate times for their workouts. Large crowds of family and friends are expected to pay homage the successful developer and businessman.

Operators of the Jewish Community Center at 787 Delaware Ave. also advise that parking from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland Family Building will be difficult and they encourage members to select other times to visit. Security will be assisting people with parking and other arrangements.

Services for Mr. Benderson will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Temple Beth Zion, 805 Delaware Ave.
