The Schofield Adult Wellness Center, 3333 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda, will host a three-part series for caregivers of those with Alzheimer's disease. The first session, dealing with symptoms of middle-stage Alzheimer's disease, communication tips, relationship changes, personal care and preparing for hospitalizations, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The series, which continues April 19 and 26, is presented by the WNY Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. Part Two covers behavior changes, medication management, home safety, driving, living alone and wandering.
