In support of the National Preservation Conference, five Buffalo institutions will open their facilities on the evening of Oct. 20 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. for Museums by Moonlight.
The Albright-Knox Art Gallery; the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society; Buffalo State College's Art Conservation Program are taking part, as is the Richardson-Olmsted Complex. Made ready for the conference, this will be one of the first opportunities for the public to see into the interior of the H.H. Richardson's State Psychiatric Center in over a decade.
Museums by Moonlight is organized by Preservation Buffalo Niagara. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 the day of the event. They may be purchased online at www.P-B-N.org or at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society or the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
Trolley service will run among these venues.
