BENEFIT FOR CRASH VICTIMS: A benefit for Janine Elling-Lehner and Dave Lehner of West Seneca, who were severely injured in a motorcycle accident while vacationing in Florida, will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. today in Lake Erie Italian Club, 3200 South Park Ave., Blasdell. Tickets are $20 apiece. Beer, pop, food and a chance to win a 50-inch LG plasma TV will be provided. The accident occurred on April 28. Dave Lehner, 38, is in the process of recovery, while Janine, 36, is currently undergoing rehabilitation. They are the parents of two children, Marissa and Nicholas. RETROSPECTIVE EXHIBIT: The Charles Hunt Retrospective Exhibit will open with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the Burchfield Nature and Art Center at 2001 Union Road, West Seneca. The exhibit, featuring woodcarvings of carousels and related items, will run through Sept. 30.
KIDS FUN: Explore and More at Central Wharf, on the Waterfront Boardwalk, will present "The Story of Buffalo" from noon to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. This week children of all ages will learn about Buffalo's four seasons.
