The American Council of Engineering Companies of New York inducted Michael Leydecker, an associate principal and surface transportation group manager at Wendel Duchscherer Architects & Engineers, Buffalo, chairman at the association's annual spring luncheon in New York City.

Dr. Kenneth D. Anthone of the Anthone Eye Centers was presented the 2011 Arthur M. Gottleib OD Leadership Award at the New York State Optometric Association Awards Dinner in Corning. Anthone received the award for his active support for the association, his many lobbying efforts on behalf of Orals Legislation and his humanitarian work in the U.S. and internationally.

Damon Morey managing partner Peter S. Marlette was appointed to serve on the Managing Partner Forum Advisory Board. MPF is a national organization dedicated to helping managing partners be the most effective leaders by providing educational, networking and leadership development skills to managing partners and law firm leaders.

Phillips Lytle partner Douglas W. Dimitroff served as a panel moderator at "DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) in Action 2011: Capitol View," an event, sponsored by PCIA -- the Wireless Infrastructure Association and the DAS Forum recently in Arlington, Va. Dimitroff's panel was titled "Capitol View: New and Emerging Public Policies Impacting the DAS Market."
