Air time for Bristol...

A Phoenix radio station has offered a job to Bristol Palin.

Mix 96.9 host Mathew Blades says that Sarah Palin's eldest daughter met with the station's management Friday and that they offered her a gig co-hosting with him on his morning show.

The 20-year-old daughter of the former Alaska governor hasn't accepted the offer, but Blades says she seems interested.

The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant has purchased a five-bedroom house in the Town of Maricopa, which is south of Phoenix. She came to the forefront during her mother's 2008 vice presidential run when the Palin family announced that the then-17-year-old was pregnant.

Rocker in cooler...

Motley Crue singer Vince Neil avoided the media and quietly pleaded guilty Wednesday to driving drunk last summer near the Las Vegas Strip.

A temporary judge who took the plea before reporters arrived sentenced Neil to 15 days in the Clark County jail and 15 days on house arrest under terms of a plea deal. He was also fined $585.

Court officials said the rocker, 49, was ordered to begin serving his sentence Feb. 15.

Neil and his lawyers, Richard Schonfeld and David Chesnoff, appeared 90 minutes early before Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Pro Tem Gerry Zobrist, court officers said. Media members arriving for a scheduled 9 a.m. plea learned that Neil had come and gone.

Chesnoff told the Associated Press the case was moved up at his request because he was due in family court across town on another case.

Another Smith star...

Another child of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith is set to star in the remake of a Hollywood classic.

Ten-year-old Willow Smith is set to play the title role in "Annie."

The film is being developed by Overbrook Entertainment, which the Smiths co-own, along with Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter and Sony Pictures.

Last year, 12-year-old Jaden Smith starred in a remake of "The Karate Kid," which raked in $343 million worldwide.

Sony's Columbia Pictures first brought "Annie" to theaters in 1982.

The movie was based on the Broadway musical in which an orphan's life is transformed when she goes to live with the wealthy industrialist Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks.

Jimmy Buffett falls...

Jimmy Buffett fell off a stage at the end of a concert in Australia and was rushed to the hospital, but a representative for his sister said Wednesday the singer is doing fine.

Australia's Daily Telegraph reports that audience members saw the 64-year-old fall face first off the stage and hit his head at a concert in Sydney.

Buffett's manager then took the stage and urged fans to leave the auditorium, the Hordem Pavilion.

The singer was brought to Sydney's St. Vincent's Hospital.

"Lucy spoke to his camp, and he is doing fine, recovering, and will stay in the hospital overnight," said Johnny Fisher, the general manager for Lulu's, the restaurant Lucy Buffett owns in Gulf Shores, Ala. He added that Buffett had a CT scan that was normal. He said that updates would be available on the singer's website.

The concert was Buffett's fifth and last in Sydney on his current tour.
