Happy birthday to me...
Kid Rock took the stage in Detroit to a most fitting tune: "Birthday" by the Beatles.
Tens of thousands of fans weren't disappointed Saturday night as the hometown rocker brought in special guests to help celebrate his 40th.
More than 45,000 tickets sold out in only 19 minutes for the special birthday concert in Ford Field, the city's downtown NFL stadium, in honor of the man born Robert Ritchie.
Early in the show, fellow musician Uncle Kracker joined Rock on stage for "Good to Be Me." Talk show hosts Conan O'Brien and Jay Leno appeared on two oversized video screens on either side of the stage in taped messages wishing their friend a happy birthday.
O'Brien told Rock: "Happy 40th birthday and rock on Detroit!"
Zsa Zsa loses leg...
Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband says the actress is smiling and talking, a day after doctors amputated most of her right leg.
Frederic Prinz von Anhalt said Saturday that Gabor is heavily sedated and does not yet know that her leg has been removed. He says he will tell her when she regains more of her strength.
Doctors in Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center decided to amputate Friday when a persistent infection wouldn't heal.
Von Anhalt says the 93-year-old "Moulin Rouge" and "Queen of Outer Space" star will likely spend up to four weeks in the hospital.
Gabor broke her hip and had replacement surgery in July and has been hospitalized several times since for swelling in her legs and blood clots throughout her body.
Addicted to babies...
"Octomom" Nadya Suleman tells Oprah Winfrey she was addicted to having children and was "self-medicating through babies" when she gave birth to octuplets in 2009.
Suleman appeared Friday on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" for a financial intervention from money guru Suze Orman. She has been plagued with money problems and threatened with eviction from her Southern California home.
Suleman says that she felt a "hole" after six children and wanted more but that after 14 kids, the hole remains.
When Suleman said she paid for in vitro fertilization through savings, Orman replied, "Lie, lie, lie!" and said she had seen Suleman's finances and insisted she had borrowed the money.
Orman heatedly urged Suleman to give up private school and excessive gifts for her children and a personal trainer and manicures for herself.
