The Monday Quarterback Club, the business group that backs the Buffalo Bills, has announced the recipients of its annual player awards. Recipients for the 2010 season are as follows: Man of the Year: QB Ryan Fitzpatrick; The Steve Tasker Special Teams Player of the Year: S George Wilson; Special Teams "Kick Coverage" Award: FB Corey McIntyre; Eddie Abramoski "Unsung Hero" Award (co-winners): RB Fred Jackson and DL Kyle Williams; Rookie of the Year: WR David Nelson; Outstanding Achievement: WR Stevie Johnson. FOOTBALL: Cross Training Football is holding an Ultimate Football League and several one-day tournaments. The league (for grades 7-11) will begin Feb. 5 and run each Saturday through Feb. 26 at Sweet Home High School. Games (five-on-five) will be played from 1-5 p.m. There will be a little league tournament (seventh grade and under) on Saturday; a junior varsity tournament (ninth grade and under) on Jan. 22 (register by Saturday); and a varsity tournament (12th grade and under) on Jan. 29 (register by Jan. 22). BASKETBALL: The seventh annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day basketball clinic will be staged at the Koessler Center, Main Street and E. Delavan Avenue, at 9:30 a.m. Monday. VOLLEYBALL: The Delaware Family YMCA, 2564 Delaware Ave., invites adults ages 18 and up for an adult co-ed volleyball league.
