Town finishes reorganization moves

Town of Hanover officials completed reorganizational efforts this week, Supervisor Kathy Tampio announced Thursday.

The supervisor's salary was set at $17,500, while Deputy Supervisor Ken Cross will receive $2,000 in addition to his council stipend of $6,250.

Other annual appointments include Jeffrey Passafaro as town attorney at $22,000 annually and Andrew Kehrer as special prosecutor at $8,000.

Highway Superintendent Steve D'Angelo was named disaster coordinator, with an annual stipend of $3,775. Robert Davis and Jeff Smith will receive $750 as assistants. D'Angelo also serves as fire warden, as does Bruce Hagmier.

Regular meetings of the Town Board will be held at 7:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.

Warren Riles, Elaine Pecoraro and Darlene Fox were appointed to the Board of Ethics.

Richard Erdle was named chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals, and Carol DePasquale is chairwoman of the Planning Board.
