Here's the lineup for this weekend's Section VI semifinals:

Kenmore West (6-2) at Orchard Park (8-0), 7 p.m.
Depew (6-2) at Lackawanna (8-0), 7:30 p.m.

Grand Island (7-1) at Iroquois (7-1), 7 p.m.
Fredonia (7-1) at Alden (8-0), 7:30 p.m.
Silver Creek (7-1) vs. Cleveland Hill (8-0) at Frontier, 2 p.m.
Portville (7-1) at Clymer (8-0), 1:30 p.m.
I got all of the weekend's matchups from Section VI chairman Chuck Funke (our schedule page is now updated with the consolation semifinals and other Week Nine games).
It seems that Halloween and SATs conspired to move some games to Saturday. Schools need to have manpower on hand to host a game, and also need law enforcement stationed at games; according to Funke, Iroquois and Alden cited some of those issues in moving the games to Saturday night.
Right after I got off the phone with Funke, Cleveland Hill called to say that their home game was being moved to Frontier because the Golden Eagles' field is already unplayable due to all the recent rain.
