Anna Trimble, co-founder of a tool and die business, died Monday in ElderWood Health Care at Linwood in Lancaster, after a lengthy illness. She was 84.
Born Anna Endle in Weiden, Germany, she emigrated to this country as a child and was a graduate of Hutchinson Central High School.
Along with her first husband, the late Alois Heckl Jr., she founded Heckl Tool & Die, which she served as president. The business operated from 1950 to 1965.
Mrs. Trimble was a member and former president of Buffalo Turn Verein, a gymnastics club. She was a member of Frohsin Singing Society, Elma Senior Citizens, and enjoyed playing volleyball and bowling.
Her first husband died in 1964, and her second, Mason H. Trimble, died in 1970.
Survivors include a son, Robert A. Heckl; and two daughters, Margaret Brody and Louise A. Heckl.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5337 Genesee St., Bowmansville.
