This Day in Buffalo Sports History

Oct. 23, 1960 -- The Bills still hadn't won a home game at this point in their first season, losing their first three starts at War Memorial Stadium. They changed that in a big way on Oct. 23.

Wray Carlton scored three touchdowns (all on pass receptions) in the first half alone as Buffalo jumped out to a 28-7 halftime lead, and coasted to a 38-9 win over the Oakland Raiders.
