Phyllis A. Brzezinski, owned two businesses with her husband April 16, 1922 -- Oct. 19, 2008

Phyllis A. Brzezinski, widow of former Wheatfield Supervisor Stanley A. Brzezinski, an active Democrat and co-owner of a beer distribution company, died Sunday in DeGraff Memorial Hospital, North Tonawanda. She was 86.

Born Phyllis Mavis in Wheatfield, she graduated from North Tonawanda High School. She was a member of St. John de LaSalle Catholic Church in Niagara Falls and the Wheatfield Democratic Club.

She married Stanley Brzezinski in 1944. A supervisor for 22 years, he died in 2000.

Mrs. Brzezinski and her husband were co-owners of a Beck's Beer distributor in the area. They also owned and operated Lynch Park Mobile Home Court for 40 years.

She also served on the board of Calamar Construction.

Survivors include a daughter, Gay Molnar, and a dear friend, Robert Zankowski.

A memorial Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. John de LaSalle Church, 8627 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.
