BENEFIT: Reservations are now being accepted for the eighth annual Mountain Auction, to be held Nov. 1 in Doyle Hall at St. Bonaventure University. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a Mass in the University Chapel. Highlights of the evening include a silent and live auction, with more than 200 gifts, including Buffalo Sabres tickets and a golf outing. Proceeds will benefit Mount Irenaeus, the Franciscan mountain retreat in West Clarksville. Tickets are $40. For reservations, call 375-2096.

DANCE PROGRAM: Danceability Inc., a dance program for children and adults with special needs, will hold its first annual "Jazz, Jokes and Java" fundraiser, featuring the music of Saxman Slim, comedy of TuTu Thomas, and desserts.
