2. Happy 150th, Teddy.
Celebrate President Theodore Roosevelt's 150th birthday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at Ellicott Square, 295 Main St. Activities include the sale of souvenir cachet envelopes marking the sesquicentennial of Roosevelt's birth, along with cake and balloons and other festivities. 3. Owl prowls can be a hoot.
Especially during this bewitching season, so take a walk with some naturalists from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Beaver Meadow Aududon Center, 1610 Welch Road in North Java. Meet some nonreleasable owls beforehand, too. Reserve your spot by calling (585) 457-3228. $15.
