Army (2-4) at UB (2-4)

Time: 3:30 p.m. TV: TWC13

Radio: 1230 AM

Line: UB by 11

Army: Black Knights 341-yard rushing performance in win over Eastern Michigan was the 28th best in the nation this season. . . . Averaging 304 rushing yards per game over the last three games. . . . Has lost to two other Mid-American Conference opponents, Akron and Temple.

UB: Hosts Army for the first time. . . . Forced seven turnovers over the last three games. . . . TB James Starks has scored all five of his TDs in the last two games.

Army might win if: It can create some turnovers. Time of possession is one of the keys for the Black Knights, who run the clock-killing triple option offense. Defensively, UB is looking to rediscover its ground game and Army is mediocre against the run.

UB might win if: Slowing the triple option is pivotal to winning the game. The Bulls are strong against the run but the numbers are a bit misleading because they've played against several successful pass-happy offenses. The Bulls are also trying to recover from a devastating overtime loss to Western Michigan, the kind of defeat that can spiral into something negative for the remainder of the season.

Outlook: The Bulls seem to have a decided edge in personnel, but dealing with the triple option is challenging. It's a good thing their coach knows a little something about running the option.

Prediction: UB 28, Army 7.
