RESCUE EFFORT -- Lynn Fazzolari of Hamburg specializes in rescuing unwanted toys and other children's items and giving them away. She calls it TurnAroundToys.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, she'll have a major swap at the Lake Shore Fire Hall, Route 5 and Rogers Road. Bring usable stuff -- toys, clothes, household items, high chairs, car seats -- and it will go to inner-city churches for distribution.

"Everything is free," Lynn says. "Why am I doing this? Why would I not? If given the opportunity to help someone in need, wouldn't you help, too?" For info, call 913-2238 or e-mail twohappyfeet@verizon.net.
