CARDS/GIFTS: The unveiling of the 19th annual collection from the Paint Box Project, themed Living Masterpieces, will take place at 4 p.m. today in the lobby at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, located at Elm and Carlton streets, followed by an art party in the Sunflower Cafe. The Paint Box Project consists of a group of young cancer patients, who will present their new line of holiday cards and gifts. Proceeds will benefit cancer research and care. BEECHWOOD HOMES AUCTION: The Beechwood/Blocher Foundation's auxiliary board will host its 13th annual auction and food extravaganza at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Beechwood Homes, 2235 Millersport Highway, Amherst. This year's theme is "Come Home for the Holidays," featuring a silent and live auction with more than 300 items. MASONIC EVENT: The Masonic Center, known as the Valley of Buffalo Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, has constructed a walled-in Memorial Patio where members, the public and businesses can have their names permanently engraved in paver blocks.
