Erie County Department of Senior Services will hold "Powerful Tools for Caregivers" classes -- six weekly 2 1/2 -hour sessions that teach stress reduction, improving self-confidence, how to better communicate feelings and locate helpful resources -- from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays (Oct. 15 to Nov. 19) in the in-service room, Erie County Home, 11580 Walden Ave., Alden.
