Monday homeroom quarterback: Week Six

Six weeks down, one to go in Section VI football, the Monsignor Martin Association schedule just really got rolling, and it's getting late early in the Harvard Cup.

We want your opinion on this past weekend in high school football,
but we want you to be as informed a voter as we can possibly get you.

Check out:

* The scores and box scores for Friday night and Saturday.

* The game story about Canisius' big win over St. Francis on Saturday as well as info about the recent history of the rivalry in a blog post.

* The game story about Orchard Park's victory over Lancaster on Saturday as well as more info on the blog.

* The roundup from Sunday's paper. That starts with Jamestown's big comeback win at Clarence, and I wrote more about Jamestown on the blog.

* Still more details about more of Saturday's games on the blog.

* The game story about North Tonawanda steamrolling St. Joe's on Friday night as well my blog post wondering aloud where NT should be in the next poll.

* The roundup of Friday night games from Saturday's paper. The headline went to Iroquois' close win over West Seneca East. There's more about the game's disputed finish in a blog post (including interesting input from both sides -- in the post and in the comments below it).

* Blog posts elaborate on Maryvale putting itself in playoff position with a win at Tonawanda and McKinley winning its first game against Hutch-Tech as well as details on several other games.

* This week's honorees for the Connolly Cup and the Trench Trophy were posted earlier this morning.

And now, poll time:

The polls will be closed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, right on time for myweekly Prep Talk live chat.

Comment below on your choice, any others that you think should have been included and anything else about the weekend.
