Kaleida Health appointed D. Eric Pogue executive vice president for human resources and Peter Stea vice president for decision support and business intelligence. Most recently, Pogue served as the national human resources executive for the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Heidelberg College in Ohio and holds a master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Stea most recently served as director for decision support at TriHealth Inc., Cincinnati. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has completed work toward a master's degree in health care administration from Central Michigan University. Kaleida Health is a Western New York health care provider.

The Buffalo/Niagara Postal Customer Council, the local direct mail industry's business group, received top honors from the National Postal Council at its annual competition: "PCC of the Year" for best overall program; Gold Award as a "Premier PCC;" Silver Award for best educational program; and Silver Award for best communications program in the nation. Also, Buffalo postal executive Victor Laudisio was named the Postal Person of the Year by the national organization. Mod-Pac Corp. promoted David B. Lupp to chief operating officer, in addition to his current job as the Buffalo printing company's chief financial officer. As COO, he will be in charge of the company's day-to-day operations and management. Prior to joining Mod-Pac in January 2006, he spent 16 years as CFO of International Imaging Materials, as well as advancing positions with MHP Machines and LTV Aerospace and Defense Co. He is a certified public accountant and graduate of the University at Buffalo.

Horizon Health Services appointed Dr. James P. Klyczek, president and chief executive officer of Niagara County Community College, to its Health Management Group board of directors for a three-year term. Horizon Health Services is a Western New York provider of mental health, behavioral health, chemical dependency, medical and vocational treatment and recovery services.

The Park School of Buffalo appointed Jennifer A. Brady director of admissions. Brady has more than 13 years experience as an educator. She is a graduate of Canisius College and holds a master's degree from Buffalo State College. Park School, founded in 1912, is a college preparatory, co-educational, independent school in Amherst, for students from pre-K through grade 12.
