Too bad the Mets choked because the Bisons would have really had some momentum going all month. Undaunted, the Herd is already started its promotion for next season far earlier than it normally would.
I nearly drove off the road on the inbound Kensington Thursday morning when I saw a huge Bisons billboard just before the Grider Street exit that read "New Team. New Affiliate. New York." It came complete with Bisons and Mets logos. Nice.
It's going to be a busy offseason. We still have to wait for unveiling of a new logo and uniforms, a new name for Dunn Tire Park and the announcement by the Mets of the team's manager and coaches. So the Bisons' huge September splash should keep them in the news quite a bit all winter.
