The popularity of ABC's new series, "Private Practice," continues to be baffling. Last Wednesday's episode of the "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff featuring the high school-like behavior of doctors certainly hit a new low. Literally.
Dr. Addison (Montgomery (Kate Walsh) met a good-looking and well-dressed guy (Josh Randall of "Ed") at a coffee shop and sparks flew. He eventually asked her out on a date. Addison accepted and decided to go even after she became aware of the fact that he was in therapy with the staff psychiatrist, Dr. Violet Turner (Amy Brenneman).
Before long, the reason for his therapy was revealed with an X-ray, which showed where one of Addison's shoes had landed. It wasn't a pretty sight.
Did we really have to go there?
You could say that this silly show is becoming as much fun as having a colonoscopy.
