>Muggers punch, kick man who said he had no money
A Garner Avenue man was attacked on Tremont Avenue near Bird Avenue by two muggers about 11:10 p.m. Friday.
The victim told police two stocky men demanded his money and when he replied that he had none, he was punched and kicked in the head. It was unclear if the victim, who suffered cuts and bruises, sought treatment.

NIAGARA FALLS -- Police said an 80th Street resident spent $970 in an online purchase of five softball bats but never received the merchandise.
Police said the seller, an Arizona man, provided a phony tracking number after the buyer sent the payment electronically. The Niagara Falls man has been unable to contact the seller since the transaction, police said.
Arizona police also are assisting in the investigation.
>Angola man attacked leaving Chippewa St. bar
A 28-year-old Angola man was attacked by a group of men as he left a Chippewa Street bar early Saturday, police said.
The victim told authorities that he left Big Shotz bar at about 4 a.m. As he was getting into his car, five or six men he had seen in the bar jumped him, leaving him with cuts and bruises on the left side of his face and an injury to his left knee.
The victim said the men fled in a gold Ford Escort.
>Woman says wallet stolen from purse left at hotel
NIAGARA FALLS -- A Canadian woman's wallet was stolen Saturday morning as she and her family were in the city for a hockey tournament, police said.
Police said the woman accidentally left her purse in the lobby of the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Third Street at about 10:30 a.m.
