Check out the comments that have been made all season on the "You make the call for the All-WNY 50th" post. There's plenty more at our All-WNY 50th anniversary home page, including a fun, interactive tour through newspaper clippings of the past, a searchable database of all 1,173 selections and links to every story in our season-long series.
This has been quite the experience for us at The News and hopefully it's been enjoyable for high school football fans as well. I want to thank everyone for contributing to the discussion on this blog and for all of the e-mails and letters I received. I'm trying to respond to them all but it's extremely tough. The feedback was tremendously helpful to us and really aided in boiling down 50 years to 50 players.
Speaking of feedback, we're sure you've got plenty now that the team is out. Just let me strap on my football helmet and put in my mouthpiece before the comments start flying.
