>Man accused of having sex with girl younger than 14

BROCTON -- A Brocton man was charged with second-degree rape for having sex with a girl younger than 14, Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies said.

Shaun P. Clutter, 19, was arrested on a Portland Town Court warrant. Deputies said the crime occurred in early August. Clutter is in Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.


>Dunkirk man facing drug, weapons charges

FREDONIA -- A Dunkirk man arrested Monday was found with a pistol and a large quantity of cocaine, Fredonia police said..

Tyrone L. Hall, 21, of Main Street faces felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana. Hall was arrested at a Wisteria Drive apartment just before 7 a.m. Monday, after a foot chase, police said.


>Jamestown man charged with allowing drug sales

JAMESTOWN -- Officers arrested a city man Monday, who was allegedly allowing drugs to be sold from his home.

Following a three month investigation into the sale of crack cocaine, members of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force arrested John Genberg, 47, of Barrett Avenue.

Genberg has been charged with criminal nuisance for allowing individuals to sell crack cocaine from his home. He was arrested without incident.


>Crash leads to charge of impaired by drugs

MAYVILLE -- A Mayville man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after he struck a parked vehicle and a utility pole on South Erie Street about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies said.

John C. Haworth Jr., 59, of Potter Road also was charged with failure to keep right.
