Linda H. Niscora, a former West Seneca hair salon operator whose clients include the fabled Buffalo Sabres French Connection, died Thursday in Mercy Hospital after a 12-year illness. She was 58.
Born in Buffalo, Ms. Niscora was a 1967 graduate of West Seneca West High School, where she was a member of the DECA Club, and studied in the Vidal Sassoon School in London, England.
She owned Hair Headquarters for 20 years, where her clients included Sabres Rene Robert, Gilbert Perrault and Rick Martin. She closed the business in 1996.
Ms. Niscora enjoyed trips on Norwegian Cruise Lines, chocolate and playing slot machines and bingo in Canada.
Survivors include a brother, Leon, and a sister, Susan Galbo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. today in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, 5271 Clinton St., Elma.
