TVGA Consultants, an Elma-based engineering firm, named Roland L. Autry a construction inspector. Autry is working on the Grider Street Reconstruction Project in the City of Buffalo. Also, the firm named Ronald P. Dylik to its Survey Department staff. Dylik has extensive experience both in the field and with drafting.

The Compass Group of Upstate New York, a general agency of New England Financial, a Boston-based financial service company, named Asal Nassir a financial representative. Nassir is an Erie Community College graduate and is currently working towards a legal studies degree from the University at Buffalo. She is a former Aflac insurance agent.

Blue Sky Optimum Energy, a Buffalo start-up manufacturer of biodiesel fuel, appointed Jean McCreary, an attorney at Nixon Peabody, and Herb Ego, chief executive of Go-Global Consulting, to its board of advisors.

Georgetown Capital Group president Joseph Curatolo participated in Barron's Magazine Winner's Circle Summit for Top Advisors. Only the top 500 financial advisors from across the United States were asked to participate in this invitation-only event.
