FLOOR HOCKEY: The Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns Franklin Street Unit will hold sign-ups for its teen floor hockey league this week. The league, for players 14-18 years old, plays games Thursday evenings at the Franklin Street club. Transportation is provided from North Tonawanda High School and Errick Road School. SKATING: The Police Athletic League will offer learn-to-skate programs Saturdays from Dec. 1 through Jan. 26. The program at Bud Bakewell Rink in Riverside Park will run from 1-2:15 p.m. The $20 fee includes membership to the Riverside Rink Boosters Association. The program at Timothy J. Burvid Rink in Cazenovia Park will run from 3:30-4:50 p.m. with the $20 fee including membership in the South Buffalo Community Association. The program is open to ages 4 through adult. Call the PAL office at 851-4615. . . . Public skating is open at the Cheektowaga Youth and Recreational Services department. Open skating occurs Fridays (2-3:50 p.m., 7-8:50 p.m.), Saturdays (7-8:50 p.m.) and Sundays (2:45-4:35 p.m.). General admission is $4, adults with resident cards pay $3 and children and those with senior resident cards pay $2.
