>Village Board hires Juul to replace administrator
The Williamsville Village Board has hired former Deputy Treasurer Lynda L. Juul as the new village administrator.
Juul served as deputy treasurer for more than eight years before being appointed last month to replace former Administrator Sally A. Kuzon. Kuzon left recently after a conflict with the board over her contract.
Juul also will act as village clerk and treasurer. She holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University at Buffalo.
>On-street parking ban begins for the winter
On-street parking is prohibited on all streets in the Town of Tonawanda between 2 and 6 a.m. The winter parking ordinance is in effect until April 1.
The restriction applies from sidewalk to sidewalk, meaning residents may not block the sidewalk while parking their vehicles in their driveways or lawns. Violations carry a fine of up to $250.
>Historical society plans Martin Luther tribute
