GOING UP

Steelers WR Hines Ward: Has 15 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns the last two games after having totaled just nine for 108 yards and one score before Week Seven.

Saints WR David Patten: Has benefited because New Orleans' offense has been reborn. Has 15 catches for 231 yards the last three games after just five for 90 yards in the first three games. But don't get too excited, he still hasn't scored a touchdown since 2004.

GOING DOWN

Titans QB Vince Young: Performing more like Vince Ferragamo during his short stint with the Buffalo Bills. Had a career-worst 42 yards passing against Oakland, hasn't thrown for 200 yards in a game this season and doesn't have a TD pass in his last three starts.

49ers RB Frank Gore: A top-five draft pick in leagues conducted by ESPN, he has yet to run for 100 yards in a game this season and has 55 yards or less in four of seven outings. Playing on a gimpy ankle, he hasn't scored since Week Two.
