60 SECONDS WITH -- DONTE WHITNER

>What's your favorite thing to do away from football?

I have a young son [Donte Jr.] and I like playing with him. He's 14 months. We're watching him grow and get into everything now. We've got to make sure he can't get the drawers open and can't stick his hand in the plugs.

I have a home in Cleveland. He's with his mom. He comes down here every week. He's only 14 months but he's about 30 pounds. He's getting big.

I watch a lot of kids TV. He likes Mickey Mouse and Disney. He wakes up every morning at the same time and he wants to watch Mickey Mouse.
>You're a Cleveland guy and a big Cavaliers fan. Are the Cavs taking a step back this year?

Last year I had courtside seats for all the playoff games. I don't have low expectations this year. I do think they're putting too much on LeBron [James]. But I don't think teams in the East have passed them by. You don't know what Boston's going to do, how those guys are going to play together.

We beat Detroit last year. I think Miami will be back to full strength as long as Shaq stays healthy. Chicago is one of the best teams in the East. It will be harder because everybody's gunning for us.
