>Planning Board cancels meeting set for tonight
PORTER -- The town Planning Board has canceled its monthly meeting scheduled for tonight in Town Hall.
The next board meeting has been scheduled for 7 p.m. Dec. 6 in Town Hall, 3265 Creek Road.
>Medical Center offering public flu shot clinic
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center will conduct a public flu shot clinic for adults from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the hospital, 621 10th St. Pneumonia vaccine also will be available.
Those seeking flu shots should use the 10th Street entrance or the walkway from the attached parking ramp, where free parking will be provided. Patients are asked to wear short-sleeved shirts.
Patients with health insurance, including Medicare, should be prepared to present their insurance cards. No co-pay will be required. Those who do not have insurance will be charged $20.
People exhibiting cold-like symptoms, including an elevated temperature, should wait for another clinic to get their flu shots, said Jeanne Rodgers, Memorial's infection control coordinator.

NORTH TONAWANDA -- The North Tonawanda History Museum is presenting a seven-week exhibit in Greater Buffalo Savings Bank starting today.
The exhibit, "Respect for Diversity: Valuing Our Museums, Libraries and the Communities They Create," runs through Dec. 21 in the bank's North Tonawanda branch, 107 Main St.
