Wiggle room for Craig?

Sen. Larry Craig, R-Idaho, now wants some wiggle room in his announcement that he will retire in the wake of pleading guilty to a misdemeanor after engaging in foot and hand signals in an airport bathroom stall during a police sting operation.

Craig's aides say he may fight to keep his job if a Senate Ethics Committee probe clears him of wrong-doing or if a court allows him to withdraw his guilty plea.

Republican Senate leaders, concerned that Craig's offense adds to a burden of GOP scandals over the last three years, want him out.

Should Craig continue his campaign to stay in the Senate or should he get out?
