The state prison sentence of Coco N. Spencer, 23, of Gooding Street, Lockport, won't be any longer after action in a drug case by County Judge Peter L. Broderick Sr., who gave Spencer a five-year sentence for attempted third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance but made the time concurrent with the nine years Spencer is already serving for stealing a hidden recording device from a police informant June 23, 2005. In the case for which she was sentenced Tuesday, Spencer sold cocaine to an undercover officer in Lockport on Oct. 5, 2005.

An Adam Street, Lockport, woman who stabbed another woman in a Locust Street Laundromat last Aug. 4 was placed on three years' probation by County Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza. Geraldine M. Price, 52, had pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in connection with the attack on Sabrina Davis, who was stabbed in the wrist.

Tommy H. Mims, 57, of Portage Road, Niagara Falls, drew three years' probation from Judge Sperrazza for his guilty pleas to a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. Mims was arrested Sept. 29 in Niagara Falls.

In another misdemeanor DWI case, Sperrazza scheduled sentencing Sept. 18 for Timothy D. Gardner, 41, of Revere Avenue, North Tonawanda, who pleaded guilty to that charge Tuesday. He was pulled over in North Tonawanda on Oct. 15.
